Yoga at Winehaven!

Spend your morning practicing yoga while enjoying spectacular views of the lakes and vineyards! Join Annie Hayes Wellness and Winehaven as we host a series of phenomenal YOGA classes this year. Perfect for a girls day, unique date or just for unwinding after a busy week. Stay for lunch and enjoy a glass of wine inside the winery!

Annie Hayes is a yoga teacher, meditation guide and wellness coach with certifications from the Mayo Clinic of Rochester and Yoga Center of Minneapolis. Her approach extends beyond yoga to encompass a whole body, whole mind approach to wellness. This passion drove her to create Annie Hayes Wellness, a holistic approach to making wellness affordable and accessible to all.

The cost of the class is $20.00 and includes yoga and a glass of wine.  All humans and experience levels are welcome. Just bring a mat and a smile.

At 11 am each day, Winemaker Kyle Peterson will lead a very special springtime tour of the vineyard.  We will also have a selection of food trucks on-hand along with a variety of clothing, jewelry and craft vendors, so you can sip while you shop!  Don't miss this very special weekend at Winehaven!

Celebrate the arrival of spring with our inaugural event – Jazz at the Vineyard – a festive night of local wine (and beer!), amazing food, live jazz entertainment, dancing, and great company! During this amazing evening, you’ll be treated to a 3-hour experience featuring a 10-course tasting menu for dinner, an array of Winehaven wines, live entertainment, dance lessons, and more! Upon arrival you’ll be invited to order up your included (one of two) locally crafted Winehaven wine, beer, wine slushie, or nonalcoholic beverage of your choice (soda, mocktails, “fancy” coffee, etc.). As a perfect pairing to our beverages, we’ll enjoy our first two dinner courses which are being butler passed during the welcome reception. Our partners from Stillwater’s own Dance and Entertainment Studios will be doing two “mini” dance lesson throughout the night – one featuring Swing and the other Rumba. The first “mini” lesson will happen during our welcome reception between 6-6:30 PM and feature Swing, to help encourage you to get out on the dance floor. The second “mini” lesson featuring Rumba will happen during the band’s intermission halfway through our night together. Their dance instructors will also be available throughout the evening to answer questions and provide one-off instructions to ensure everyone that wants to learn some steps can do so. As we kick off our evening, Vic Volare and the Volare Lounge Orchestra, will heat things up with their wildly entertaining music. Vic Volare is the Twin Cities legendary crooner. His Rat Pack stylings have been thrilling crowds since 1996. With his band of merry men known as the fabulous Volare Lounge Orchestra, Vic has blazed a horn screamin’ high kickin’ trail of swing music and classic standards that will keep us dancing all night long. As our live entertainment gets swinging, our food partners at Donatelli’s out of White Bear Lake, MN will open up our dinner stations for our 10-course tasting menu to add to the festivities. Donatelli’s is a local, family owned restaurant that’s been serving “food with purpose” for over 40 years.

Our dinner will feature a wide array of palate pleasures including the following:
Course 1: Spinach & Artichoke Dip on Molasses Toast – Passed (Veg) – Mini pumpernickel bread toasted with molasses chili butter and topped with spinach and artichoke dip.
Course 2: Bourbon Glazed Pork Belly – Passed (GF / DF) – Melt in your mouth pork belly tossed in a bourbon glaze garnished with honey, chive, sour cream served on a skewer.
Course 3: Brie Stuffed Phyllo Cup (Veg) – Light and crispy Phyllo cup filled with creamy Brie cheese and topped with a Mango chutney.
Course 4: Butternut Squash Risotto (GF / Veg) – House made risotto with butternut squash and fresh herbs.
Course 5: Smoked Salmon Filet (GF / DF) – Honey smoked salmon served with the following accompaniments on the side; capers, hard boiled egg, diced red onion, diced tomatoes and crackers.
Course 6: Roasted Vegetables (GF / DF Veg) – A variety of fresh vegetables including carrots, potatoes, peppers, squash and onions tossed with olive oil and seasonings, then roasted at a high temperature to preserve the flavors – great served at room temperature!
Course 7: Italian Sausage and Peppers (GF / DF) – Italian sausage, peppers, onions, and tomatoes sautéed in olive oil, marsala, and Italian spices.
Course 8: Chicken Skewer (GF) – Tender chicken skewered alongside a cherry tomato, chunk of fresh pineapple and green pepper; marinated with a delicious teriyaki glaze.
Course 9: Tenderloin Sliders – Thinly sliced roasted beef tenderloin served on a slider bun with greens and horseradish sauce.
Course 10: Lobster Stuffed Ravioli – Ravioli stuffed with fresh lobster and served with fresh sweet corn sautéed in butter with garlic, roasted tomatoes and Applewood smoked bacon.

You’ll be invited to enjoy your dinner at your leisure as you take in the beautiful scenery from the winery and enjoy lively music from our entertainment. Once you’ve had an opportunity to enjoy the wide array of tasty fare, you’ll be treated to a scrumptious assortment of sweet treats featuring mini cannoli, tiramisu cups, panna cotta with Bing cherries and Spumoni cookies. The rest of the night is yours to enjoy as you see fit – dance the night away and show off your fancy new footwork, grab a glass of vino and head out to the vineyard to take in some springtime sights of the budding vines, order up another round of drinks and tap your foot from the sidelines, or take in the sunset from our beautiful patio. No matter how you choose to spend this evening, we’re sure you’ll head home with memories as vibrant as the music, food, and drinks we enjoyed on this one-of-a-kind evening at the winery.

Federweisser Festival at Winehaven!

The grape harvest is now over and the new wines are quietly maturing in our stainless steel tanks. During this special weekend, Winehaven will be embracing the German tradition of inviting guests to sample the new wine – directly from the cask! It's not juice anymore, but it's not finished wine either. Whatever it is, it's delicious!

Be the first to try the new wines from Winehaven's 2024 grape harvest! During this special event, the new 2024 vintage will be released, and a special flight of all the new wines will be available including:

2024 Itasca - Made from the University of Minnesota's new winter hardy Itasca grape, this wine delivers aromas and flavors of vibrant tropical fruit. Itasca pairs well with seafood, poultry, white meats, and dishes with cream sauce!

2024 LaCrescent - Made from the University of Minnesota's winter-hardy LaCrescent grape, this wine delivers delightful fruity aromas and flavors. A crisp, delicious finish makes LaCrescent an excellent choice with fish and poultry.

2024 Franconia - Made from the new winter hardy Franconia grape that was developed at Winehaven, this lush wine is bursting with blackberry and raspberry notes that flow into an intense floral palate. This wine is wonderful with cheeses, beef and pasta dishes.

2024 Deer Garden Red - Chisago is Winehaven's first patented grape that is known for its unique combination of outstanding wine quality, vigor and winter hardiness. The wine is pleasingly sweet with intense flavors of cherry and plum. Admission is free and reservations are not required. Bring your friends!
