Made from the winter hardy Itasca grape that was developed by the University of Minnesota, this semi-dry white wine delivers delicious aromas and flavors of vibrant tropical fruit.  Itasca pairs well with seafood, poultry, white meats and dishes with cream sauces.

Winehaven's Pinot Grigio contains pear aromas accompanied by citrus and melon overtones with a mellow, spicy finish.  Try it with crab, ham, pasta with a cream sauce and even salmon dishes!

The grape for this wine was developed by Kevin and Kyle Petereson, WineHaven's father and son winemaking team. WineHaven has been awarded U.S. Plant Patent 31,039 for the Nicollet grape, characterized by its unique combination of disease resistance, winter hardiness and tropical fruit-forward aromas and flavors.  This wine delivers delicious aromas and flavors of pear, honeysuckle and vibrant tropical fruit. A crisp, delicious finish makes Winehaven's Nicollet an excellent choice with spicy cuisine.
