Philanthropy
Since it's inception, WineHaven Winery and Vineyard has maintained a commitment to giving back to its community. The winery and its employees have supported countless non-profit organizations and events, through financial contributions, services, and in-kind donations.
WineHaven donates up to $5,000 on an annual basis. This amount is typically divided among a number of causes. Preference is given to projects that impact the Chisago Lakes community where WineHaven is located and where its employees live.
WineHaven reviews applications for assistance on a quarterly basis. Recommended applications are forwarded to WineHaven's board of directors for final consideration. WineHaven supports diversity. Organizations or events that discriminate based on race, creed, gender, disability, sexual orientation, age, religion or nationality should not apply.
Application Process: Requests for assistance should be submitted in the form of a letter that includes the following information:
- Brief description of the organization, its mission and audience served.
- Specific assistance requested and the intended use.
- Proof of non-profit classification.
Although requests for WineHaven's assistance may appear to meet the attached guidelines, assistance should not be assumed. Organizations chosen are those with programs or projects that most closely match our mission and best demonstrate how WineHaven's assistance can be of value.
